Margaritas by the pool ✅

Thank you so much to our Master mixologist Ben's Bar - Cocktail Bars for providing us with Margaritas on tap at our villa.
Normally we frequent Ben's on an evening, but because we are not in the area he was such a gentleman we were provided with our own private supply. Much appreciated, they were AMAZING!!

Finding proper crushed ice in Spain? Still haven’t found it.

The problem isn’t availability — it’s quality.
The pieces are too big, too irregular… and almost always made from cloudy ice instead of clear ice.

And that matters.

Ice controls dilution, temperature, texture — the entire drink.

So we do it ourselves.

Solid ice cubes. Into a cloth.
A proper wooden mallet.
A few clean hits… and you get those perfect little crystals — sharp, dry, precise.

Exactly what a cocktail deserves.

¿Encontrar buen hielo triturado en España? Todavía no.

El problema no es encontrarlo — es la calidad.
Los trozos son demasiado grandes, irregulares… y casi siempre hechos con hielo turbio en lugar de hielo cristalino.

Y eso importa.

El hielo controla la dilución, la temperatura, la textura — todo el cóctel.

Así que lo hacemos nosotros mismos.

Cubitos sólidos. Dentro de un paño.
Un buen mazo de madera.
Unos golpes precisos… y salen esos pequeños cristales perfectos — limpios, secos, exactos.

Como debe ser.
