**APPEAL FOR FUNDS**
I'm usually a very positive person, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and always find a solution to every problem, but today I feel defeated! The UK's announcement last night was a huge blow... 😔
Since this pandemic hit back in March, there have been very few donations from the island, which I understand and appreciate, as people are struggling to keep a roof over their head. The charity tins, fundraisers, raffles, and random generosity has not happened this year. Just as we all thought life was moving forward with the UK lifting quarantine, BOOM... a second lockdown, meaning people cannot travel, having a devastating effect to businesses here.
I am drowning in debt, I owe the vet a huge amount, of just over 7000€ and although I chip away at it, far more goes on than comes off. Robodog alone cost over 2500€ ..... Teacup another 1200€ :( I have an issue saying no to dogs as we all know, so it simply gets put on the bill.... but unless I can reduce it I will have to close the doors, as the worry about having to pay it, and how my charity will survive this crisis is slowly eating away at me.... Im asking for you to put down that donut, back away from the costa coffee and donate towards keeping the charity going..... over 17,000 people on the page..... do something good today donate towards the vets bill....
