Rupture has spent the last 20 years becoming London’s home for deep, underground jungle and
drum & bass - built on community and a refusal to commercialise the culture.
Founded in 2006 by Mantra and Double O the night was created to push the more experimental
side of jungle and drum & bass.
By 2012 it had expanded into a record label, releasing music from artists such as Spirit, dBridge,
Tim Reaper, Sully and Forest Drive West, Djinn and many more.
Rupture is widely regarded as one of London’s best underground D&B nights, consistently pushing
forward-thinking lineups whilst keeping community and inclusivity at its core. As the movement has
evolved so has the need to double down on the essence of what it means to rave: intentional
gatherings built around amazing sound systems, paying homage to the foundations of jungle and
d&b whilst always looking at new ways to push the sound forward and create pathways for emerging
artists.
