BANANA CALLING COCKTAIL Recipe

STORY
The Banana Calling cocktail is a short, concise drink best described as a “Banana & Fino Sherry Gin Sour.” The Sherry and banana notes are subtle—so subtle, in fact, that you wouldn’t immediately identify it as a banana cocktail, even though the name gives it away.

INGREDIENTS
40 ml / 1 ⅓ oz. dry Gin
10 ml/ ⅓ oz. Crème de banane liqueur
7,5 ml/ ¼ oz. Sherry
20 ml/ ⅔ oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
7,5 ml/ ¼ oz. sugar syrup

METHOD
1 Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake.
2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
3. Garnish with dried banana chip pegged to rim, or fresh banana slice on the rim.

How to make the L’Arte Della Bellezza Cocktail

STORY
The L’Arte Della Bellezza cocktail is best described as a short, aromatic, and slightly sweet grappa-based after-dinner cocktail. It first appeared in the Croatian city of Zagreb in 2018.

INGREDIENTS
40 ml / 1 ⅓ oz. Italicus liqueur
20 ml/ ⅔ oz Grappa
20 ml/ ⅔ oz Americano bianco

METHOD
1. Fill a mixing glass ⅔ full off ice.
2. Add the ingredients and stir until chilled.
3. Strain into chilled glass.
4. Garnish with a green olive.

How to make the Finnish Lonkero Cocktail

STORY
To make a traditional Finnish Lonkero cocktail (also known as the Finnish Long Drink), the easiest and most authentic way requires only two ingredients: Gin and Grapefruit Soda. This lively, refreshing highball was originally created for the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki to help bartenders serve huge crowds quickly.

INGREDIENTS
60 ml/ 2 oz. Gin
120 – 150 ml/ 4 to 5 oz. Grapefruit Soda

METHOD
1. Fill a tall highball glass with plenty of ice.
2. Pour in the Gin.
3. Top it off with the Grapefruit Soda.
4. Stir gently.
5. Garnish with a fresh grapefruit slice or wheel and a sprig of rosemary.

OLD GAL COCKTAIL Recipe

STORY
The Old Gal cocktail is a variation of the Old Pal cocktail made with bianco Vermouth; this has a milder effect on the Wh***ey than the dry Vermouth traditionally used for the Old Pal.

INGREDIENTS
30 ml/ 1 oz. Rye Wh***ey
30 ml/ 1 oz. Campari
30 ml/ 1 oz. Vermouth bianco
merest pinch of salt

METHOD
1. Fill a mixing glass ⅔ full off ice.
2. Add the ingredients and stir until chilled.
3. Add a big ice cube into chilled old fashioned glass.
4. Strain into the old fashioned glass.
5. Express orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

The Rizzo cocktail is named after Betty Rizzo, the leader of the “Pink Ladies” in the movie *Grease*. It tastes of zesty, tart grapefruit and reveals notes of Calvados, rounded off by Grenadine.

INGREDIENTS
30 ml/ 1 oz. Calvados
30 ml/ 1 oz. London dry Gin
22,5 ml/ ¾ oz. pink grapefruit juice
15 ml/ ½ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
7,5 ml/ ¼ oz. passion fruit syrup
7,5 ml/ ¼ oz. Grenadine syrup

METHOD
1. Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake.
2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
3. Garnish with an apple slice.

The Aigua de València (engl. Valencia Water) cocktail is often prepared and served as a punch in pitchers; it is a popular drink in the tapas bars of the Spanish city of Valencia. This potent Spanish twist on the Mimosa is authentically made using juice from oranges grown in the Valencia region. It is perfect for a relaxed, hot afternoon—best enjoyed in the Spanish sunshine.

INGREDIENTS
75 ml/ 2 ½ oz. Cava sparkling w**e
30 ml/ 1 oz. London dry Gin
30 ml/ 1 oz. Vodka
30 ml/ 1 oz. orange juice
15 ml/ ½ oz. sugar syrup

METHOD
1. Pour slowly chilled sparkling w**e into ice-filled glass.
2. Take a mixing glass and fill it ⅔ full off ice.
3. Add the other ingredients and stir until chilled.
4. Strain into the glass over the chilled sparkling w**e.
5. Garnish with an orange slice.

DIRTY DIET COKE (Alcohol-free) COCKTAIL Recipe

STORY
The non-alcoholic Dirty Diet Coke cocktail sounds interesting and could taste good in the summer, even if the ingredients seem a bit unusual at first.

INGREDIENTS
90 ml/ 3 oz. Diet Coke
15 ml/ ½ oz. coconut syrup
15 ml/ ½ oz. cream
½ lime

METHOD
1. Fill glass halfway with crushed ice.
2. Add coconut syrup into the glass.
3. Squeeze lime wedges over the crushed ice and add them to the glass.
4. Top with Diet Coke.
5. Add cream and stir slightly.
6 Serve with a straw.

BEACHCOMBER COCKTAIL Recipe

STORY
The Beachcomber cocktail is a refreshing, tropical cocktail that beautifully bridges the gap between a classic Daiquiri and a Margarita. It pairs light Rum and fresh lime juice with orange liqueur and a hint of cherry-flavored Maraschino for a vibrant, balanced drink. Curaçao Triple Sec is a liqueur produced through the triple distillation of sweet and bitter orange peels. The drink was developed and marketed by a Spanish family from Curaçao in the 19th century.

INGREDIENTS
60 ml/ 2 oz. white Rum
20 ml/ ¾ oz. Triple Sec. Curaçao
20 ml/ ¾ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
7,5 ml/ ¼ oz. maraschino liqueur
1 tsp. sugar syrup (optional)

METHOD
1. Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake.
