We love albums that take their time to build a world of their own. The Red Door by is exactly that kind of record.

Electronic music meets cello, pop meets club culture, and personal stories blend into expansive sonic landscapes. With every track, another door opens, revealing something different on the other side – sometimes quiet and introspective, sometimes full of energy and momentum. Nothing feels forced; everything sounds honest, organic, and crafted with great attention to detail.

What we especially enjoy is how many different voices and influences come together on this album without ever losing its unique identity (hardly surprising though, given the top-class guests and performers such as KOKA, Raz Ohara and Jamal).

The Red Door feels curious, bold, and deeply human – the kind of record you don’t just listen to, but gradually discover.

The two-track EP was born from .nicolai’s 2025 collaboration and exhibition with / , Kyoto’s historic Nishijin-ori textile studio.

The project brings together two interrelated works exploring the relationship between textile and sound.

Wave Weave captures the rhythm of Hosoo’s looms through video and synchronized electronic sound, while Sono Obi Landscape transforms electronic music into sonograms interpreted as textile patterns.

The resulting fabric becomes a physical recording of sound, proposing a new way to experience music through texture, visual form, and material presence.

The exhibition and accompanying EP bridge tradition and innovation, reflecting Nicolai’s longstanding interest in weaving and sound alongside Hosoo’s centuries-long mastery of textile craftsmanship.

Kasper Bjørke Quartet "Passages In Time"

Although the album has been out for a few days now, we’d like to take another look at it here.

This third album from Kasper Bjørke Quartet, traces the contours of a blend of spiritual jazz reverence and the calming grandeur of ’80s ambient. There’s something beautifully unhurried about this album. Warm grooves, subtle jazz textures and this deep, almost cinematic sense of movement — like drifting through memories at night.

With "Passages In Time" Kasper Bjørke opens another space entirely: organic, intimate and timeless without ever sounding nostalgic. One for late evenings, long thoughts and careful listening.

Auf ihrem neuen Album „Asphalt und Sand“ schaffen es die Berliner BUHAI eine Stimmung aufzubauen, die irgendwo zwischen Stadt, Nachtfahrt und Kopfhörer-Moment funktioniert, ohne dabei kitschig zu werden. Manche Tracks drängen nach vorne, andere nehmen sich Zeit — und genau das macht das Album spannend.

Beim Hören fühlt es sich an wie nachts alleine durch die Stadt zu laufen, ohne wirklich irgendwo hin zu müssen. Mal schwer und drückend, dann plötzlich wieder warm und fast hoffnungsvoll. Dieses Album hat etwas Ehrliches, Ungefiltertes. Keine aufgesetzte Coolness, kein Effekt-Overkill - einfach Stimmung, Tiefe, Charakter.

Definitiv eines der Alben, die mit jedem Hören besser werden.

BUHAI kommen ursprünglich aus dem Umfeld verschiedener Berliner und Dresdner Bandprojekte und bewegen sich musikalisch irgendwo zwischen Indie, Kraut-Pop, Jazz und elektronischen Einflüssen — ohne dabei jemals verkopft zu wirken.

Featuring collaborations with Gaye Su Akyol, Hannah Williams, Moonlight Benjamin and more, the album unfolds like fragments of a surreal movie soundtrack somewhere between forgotten library music, political dream sequences and late-night inner monologues.

Recorded between the iconic Abbey Road and Polish Radio studios, Hania Rani’s original music for Joachim Trier’s Cannes and Golden Globe winning, Oscar and Bafta nominated ‘Sentimental Value’ is a deeply intuitive collaboration, composed before a single frame was edited.

Intriguingly Hania worked on the score for Sentimental Value without an edit in hand; instead, she was given a carefully written script and the freedom of her own substantial imagination.

For Hania Rani it’s „a beautiful memory of working with Joachim Trier on this special film and then working with so many amazing people on the score and release.“

RADIATING treats the pipe organ not as a sacred object, but as a powerful, visceral instrument. MIDI-controlled algorithms generate glissandi that dissolve pitch into movement, chord progressions born from sorting code, textures that multiply through the resonant body of the church.
