For today's cocktail o`clock we have opened the old books. While flicking through them, we discovered a recipe for the Aviation Cocktail. Consisting of gin, lemon, maraschino, and crème de violette, it was a reference drink of the bar renaissance. A classic that is ideal as an aperitif. It is named after the developments in motorized aviation at the beginning of the 20th century: the great symbol of progress.
The Aviation is tangy, fresh, sour, and light.

Today we present the ultimate wake-me-up cocktail for tired hours: the Espresso Martini.
You would think it is a cocktail containing vermouth, but in fact, it is made with vodka. Originally known as Vodka Espresso, it only got its current name in the nineties.

According to legend, the cocktail was developed by the influential London bartender Dick Bradsell. He mixed it at the request of an American supermodel, who was looking for a drink that would keep her awake during later hours.

Meanwhile, there are several variations of the classic cocktail. We present the original recipe!

It is Friday and time for our cocktail recommendation. Today we present the Rusty Nail!

But it is so not rusty! With only two ingredients, the Rusty Nail is one of the absolute pioneers of the category Scotch cocktails. It moves in color somewhere between royal gold and earthy brown. The cocktail got its name from its color and its charm from its extraordinary ingredients. The Drambuie Whisky is classically stored in the cask for 15 years and then mixed with honey. It gives the Rusty Nail a fine sweetness, but at the same time spice and depth. In combination with Black Label Blended Scotch, it is an absolute dream team.

Today, in our cocktail o'clock we take you on a journey back in time to the 80s and present the following classic: the Mojito.

In the cult series Miami Vice, the main actor James "Sonny" Crockett is "a friend of Mojito", which means that he would do anything for a good Mojito. How to mix a really "good" Mojito is shown in the recipe in our story. And when will you make your own "home" mojito?

Today's cocktail o'clock is all about the color green! As the saying goes, green is the color of hope and is said to have a positive healing effect. It does not have a direct healing effect in the world-famous series "The Big Bang Theory" but it works wonders. The shy protagonist "Raj" gets enough self-confidence to talk to women after drinking the green cocktail. 😊
