Most of you have already figured it out, but unfortunately Bembel Bounce is not happening this year. Although the situation has improved, we do not want to take any risks. So stay safe, stay tuned and look forward to more news an our plans for next year’s Bembel Bounce.

WHAT A BLAST! Thank you all for tuning in and spending the first ever BEMBEL SWING EXTRAVAGANZA with us!

A special shout-out goes to our tech team, that made all the magic happen, and to everyone who contributed to this very special event: all the dedicated dancers, musicians, choreographers and camera men/women. A good part of any swing exchange is that feeling of community. A whole collection of people coming together to share their love of this wonderful thing called swing.
Dressing up in the most fancy swing outfits, trying out new and old steps - there is a lot of joyful stuff going on before and during the event.

To bring this element into the Bembel Swing Extravaganza, we want you to send in videos of yourselves dancing, to be put into our video collage which will be streamed during the DJ sets!

Send us about 30 seconds of you at home (solo or partnered), dressing up and / or dancing to your favourite track, and we will compile these videos and stream them during the event.

Welcome to the Bembel Swing Extravaganza!

Wait... the what now?

Imagine a good ol' fashioned swing dance exchange. You experience a new city. You dance to excellent DJ music, meet some locals and learn about their culture. You listen to fantastic live bands. There are various forms of delightful and surpising entertainment. You spend time with old friends, sharing new experiences and, of course, your love of swing dancing.

The Bembel Swing Extravaganza invites you to collect in small groups in your homes (either in person or per video chat, region depending) and watch our livestreamed event which will bring you all of those elements of a dance exchange which we are sorely missing!

The event will be live streamed on Facebook at 8PM on October 3rd, so call up your best dance buddies, plan your method of meeting, put on your dance shoes, and tune in for a night of entertainment and lots of our beloved swing music. And the cherry on top? We will even answer the age-old question: what on earth is a Bembel?
