Das Kunst-Club-Projekt : Humboldthain Club

Das Projekt „Humboldthain Club“ begann im März 2013, als der Wedding noch der vergessene Stadtteil war. Inzwischen ist es ein durchmischter Kiez, in dem alteingesessene ArbeiterInnen und Neu-Berliner, Clubkultur und Alt-Berliner Eckkneipe, migrantische Geschäfte und alteingesessene Currywurstbude miteinander existieren und voneinander profitieren. mboldthain Club selbst, wurde von uns liebevoll und in mühseliger Arbeit in die Location verwandelt, die sie heute ist: Ein Ort für Konzerte, Partys und Ausstellungen, ein Garten mit Freizeitangeboten wie Tischtennis und auch ein Ort für die Geburtstagsfeiern und Partys der Nachbarn und AnwohnerInnen. Wann immer möglich, haben künstlerische Inhalte Vorfahrt vor Umsatz und Gewinn und es hat sich gezeigt, daß diese Einstellung langfristig die bessere Variante darstellt. Wir, die Betreiber des Clubs, sind selbst Künstler, waren lange im Tacheles aktiv und haben aus diesen Gründen immer unsere Sympathien für Freigeister, Eigenbrötler und Freaks erhalten, die sich vom Mainstream abheben. Der Humboldthain Club ist Gegenentwurf und Nische – für Partygänger, für Künstler und für Kulturfreaks und…- NUR FÜR GÄSTE!

Three distinct sounds come together for a night moving from hypnotic and tribal techno through trance, bounce and harder territory.

Stockholm’s Mezquida brings fast-paced energy and groove, with appearances at BERNS and Burning Man and lineups alongside I Hate Models and Indira Paganotto. Cologne’s Fabienne Gehthardt delivers raw, hypnotic 140–145 BPM techno, following appearances at Gotec, DNA Munich and D2K Madrid. Our Secret Headliner — a Berlin-based vinyl DJ — has brought her sound to some of Europe’s most respected dancefloors, including Tresor, RSO, Bassiani, Gotec and Radion.
