Join us this week at KodlContemporary, Pařížská 30

🔺Wednesday March 25 at 7:00 PM - Open to the public

An intervention by Magdalena Jetelová, created in collaboration with LUNCHMEAT STUDIO and sound designer Oliver Torr as the finissage of the exhibition The Space Between, will transform the glass space of KodlContemporary Gallery into a sculptural medium for twenty minutes. Through light, sound, and the visualization of air flow, the artist makes present the invisible cultural, historical, and political forces that have long shaped the urban axis of Pařížská Street, connecting the Old Town, the Vltava River, and Letná.

The intervention builds on Jetelová’s earlier projects of marking space with red smoke from the 1980s, as well as her later action Stalin (2007) at Letná in Prague. Oliver Torr’s sound composition is based on recordings made on Pařížská Street prior to the event and gradually blends with the city’s live acoustic environment. Together with the visual intervention by Lunchmeat Studio, the gallery is briefly transformed into a shifting substance in which different temporal layers of the site resonate together.

A performance by artist Magdalena Jetelová, one of the most distinguished conceptual artists of our time, in collaboration with the creative digital media studio Lunchmeat Studio and producer and sound designer Oliver Torr.

Jetelová’s works exist somewhere between land art, pure concept, object, and architecture. In 2007 she realized the project Stalin, which followed her earlier series of performances titled Marking with Red Smoke.

After almost 20 years, we return to the scene of the action - just across the bridge at KodlContemporary, Pařížská 30, at 7 PM. Stay tuned!

Last Friday, Lucerna Passage transformed into an immersive spatial experience.

Together with Konektor, we created a large-scale public activation for the audience of Netflix´s series Bridgerton - a scenographic takeover that brings fiction into the city and places it inside a historical architectural context.

Our work spans from the production and installation of large-format decals across the passage to the fabrication of scenographic objects, including a freestanding mask, masks in the windows and the Delightful N. We also built a full-scale replica of one of the show’s iconic rooms, extending the narrative into physical space.

At the core of the intervention is our original creative concept - the ballroom: an immersive tunnel placed in the center of the passage, layered with atmospheric details designed to draw visitors inside.

Scenography as experience. Narrative as space.

Throwback to this year’s Designblok, Prague International Design Festival ✨
Topography of Courageous Thoughts: site specific AV spatial for Konsepti (KONSEPTI) in the Holport courtyard. A floating field of handcrafted waveforms, water, light and laser mapping the invisible topography of bold ideas. By day, the piece refracted the courtyard into moving caustics and soft gradients. At dusk and in the rain, drops turned into prisms, bending laser and light beams into a transient visual layer.

Our latest collaboration with the Národní divadlo
(Národní divadlo balet / The Czech National Ballet) introduces a bold, contemporary twist to the beloved fairy tale by Božena Němcová. Working alongside director Štěpán Benyovszký, we have created vibrant animated projections and playful illustrations for both the printed ballet programme and the event posters. As all previous performances have sold out quickly, please be sure to secure your tickets early for the upcoming winter run as soon as they become available.

LUNCHMEAT STUDIO has been commissioned to create an AV installation titled “Aura” for Ploom x Jan Societe x Designblok, Prague International Design Festival.

Aura truly comes to life after sunset – during the day, its full magic remains hidden. For the complete experience, we warmly recommend visiting in the evening.

Open daily during Designblok until 9:00 PM, with an earlier closing time of 7:00 PM on the final day – Sunday, October 12, 2025. You’ll find it at Výstaviště near the Křižík Pavilions. The piece is located in a free-access zone and does not require a ticket.

Take a deep breath... and remember... the best project you will ever work on... is yourself. 💪

Check another snippet of The Last Call, an audiovisual installation created by LUNCHMEAT STUDIO for Czechia at EXPO 2025.
Following on from the exhibition presented in the Czechoslovak Pavilion at EXPO 1970 in Osaka, which took a critical look at the state of society, we see the Expo as a place where a strong reflection on current socio-political realities is an essential part of the discourse. The Last Call paraphrases the illusory, LinkedIn-like positivity the world often uses to drown out the truth and invites visitors to question what they choose to hear and who they decide to trust.

When a heatwave hits, all you need is a cold, sweet, fizzy drink.
And how’s your summer, folks?

These are fragments from The Last Call — a bespoke audiovisual installation LUNCHMEAT STUDIO created for Czechia at EXPO 2025.
Through satire and immersive media, the work explores society’s tendency to enjoy illusory comfort — even though the world has already given us the red flag, and we’d still rather adjust the AC than the system.
