Barbarossa Restaurant & Lounge was established in April 2005 and is named after the famous Turkish pirate who sailed the Mediterranean Sea, bringing the true “Arabian touch” to Shanghai. Located in the most central part of Shanghai (People’s Park), Barbarossa is a 3 floor Arabian style building with unique decoration, built on water located in the middle of the park. Due to

its unique location, characteristics and concept theme, since opening in 2005 Barbarossa Lounge Shanghai has rapidly become a very popular entertainment spot and a “must visit” venue for Shanghai residents and tourists from all around the globe.
