Words from Jesus girl 😑😌
Greetings, Dear Cameroonians,
The last few days have been some of the most painful and frightening moments of my life. I have cried, I have prayed, and I have felt the crushing weight of a mistake that came from trusting too easily. My heart has been heavy with regret, not just for myself, but for the innocent person who was hurt in the process.
I was deceived by carefully crafted lies, fake conversations, fake proofs of payment, fake reassurances. Believing I was dealing with a legitimate company, I went ahead and advertised “Vadispay,” a fraudulent platform pretending to specialize in crypto and money exchange.
Trusting in my reassurances, which I deeply regret today, one of my followers sent 10,000,000 frs CFA through me to the said company for conversion into Chinese Yuan. The individual I had been communicating with told me he was in the village but able to work online. He provided me with Mtn mobile money numbers to which the money was deposited and immediately after, he disappeared without a trace.
As investigations continue, the authorities are doing all they can to track down the real criminals behind this scam. I pray justice finds them.
But in the midst of this darkness, something beautiful happened, you, the Cameroonian people, held my hand.
People who have never met me in person fought for me. You spoke for me. You prayed for me. You donated your hard-earned money to keep me from losing my freedom.
Because of you, I am standing here today, free.
I want to thank every single person who refused to let me face this battle alone. Everyone who lost sleep. Everyone who shared, donated, called, defended, or simply sent a message of strength.
To my lawyer ( Barister Malaika), to Human Rights Activist Sally Ndape, and especially to Fuchor, who went above and beyond to raise awareness and mobilize a campaign that gathered over 1,500,000 frs… thank you. You saved me in a moment when I felt completely helpless.
To all my supporters, entertainers, media personalities, brothers and sisters who stood with me:
I am forever grateful.
This experience has changed me. It has humbled me. It has taught me.
And I promise you, Jesus Girl will be more vigilant, more careful, and more responsible moving forward.
