Across from her stands TRADETWIN, smooth talker, mirror-sharp, always claiming to be exactly what he says he is, but the hag believes in pressure, vibration, and what happens when the drop hits. This is not background music, but a ritual for moving, sweating, forgetting how still you used to stand: hands up, ego down, rhythm up your spine like a second heartbeat.

Artist Focus: Kush K
For several years now, Kush K have been blazing their own unique trail in the Swiss pop scene—a refreshingly experimental one. They focus on dramatic arcs that defy narrative expectations, linked together through free-form improvisation. Kush K has managed to find a place between radio presence and underground credibility that requires no compromises or concessions.

Their debut album, Lotophagi, was named Album of the Year in 2021 by the industry association IndieSuisse. With their follow-up album, Your Humming, they played concerts across Europe and were invited to a KEXP Live Session. Drum Therapy, their last album is a guide on how to return to life, on loss, and on what it’s like when the happiness hormones return—a feeling of absolute fearlessness and aliveness, the speed and brevity of life in full awareness.

Il 14 giugno voteremo sul futuro della Zentralwäscherei Zürich. La ZWZ è molto più di un luogo culturale: è uno spazio di scambio, auto-organizzazione, arte, movimento, iniziative politiche e partecipazione collettiva.

Le 14 juin, nous voterons sur l’avenir de la Zentralwäscherei Zürich.

La ZWZ est bien plus qu’un lieu culturel: c’est un espace d’échange, d’auto-organisation, d’art, de mouvement, d’initiatives politiques et de participation collective.

Dans une ville où les espaces libres se font de plus en plus rares, nous avons besoin de lieux qui ne sont pas guidés par la consommation et le profit, mais par la communauté, la diversité et l’accès pour toutes et tous.

Am 14.06. stimmen wir über die Zukunft der Zentralwäscherei Zürich ab. Die ZWZ ist mehr als ein Kulturort: Sie ist ein Raum für Austausch, Selbstorganisation, Kunst, Bewegung, politische Initiativen und gemeinsames Gestalten.

In einer Stadt, in der Freiräume immer knapper werden, braucht es Orte, die nicht auf Konsum und Profit ausgerichtet sind, sondern auf Gemeinschaft, Vielfalt und Teilhabe.

On 14 June, we’re voting on the future of the Zentralwäscherei Zürich. The ZWZ is more than a cultural venue: it is a space for exchange, self-organisation, art, movement, political initiatives and collective participation.

Whether it’s a bright, colourful anthem or an obscure cut pulled from shadowed depths, nothing is off-limits. Each selection is both unfiltered and deliberate, blending past and present into soundscapes that feel familiar yet forward-reaching.

Their friendship was hanging by a thread when they were first booked to share a booth. During that first set, in a fragile moment of emotional turbulence, music became the thing that wove them – and the dancefloor – back together. What remained was a shared love for sound, community and making people move.

sryxo b2b alayah channel friendship, friction and affection into trippy, playful and genre-fluid sets shaped by house, breaks, acid and strange sonic turns that hit exactly where they should. Like a good family therapy session, their sets hold space for emotion, tension, connection and release.

DJ Landing’s connection to electronic music runs deep, shaped by a lasting fascination for rhythm, groove, and hypnotic sound. Influenced by a wide range of styles, he crafts sets centered on subtle energy, flowing grooves, and carefully selected music.
Over the past few years, he has been involved in Zurich’s local electronic scene through projects with Beach Club Underground and other collaborations, helping to shape intimate spaces for music, connection, and shared experiences.

On May 30th, we’re finally throwing the Hausparty we’ve deserved all along. For one night, all three party spaces of ZWZ unite under one slogan: “ZWZ Must Stay.”

Downstairs, the new members of Pluto present their crème de la crème — guaranteed to make you sweat. On the ground floor, ZW opens the Kleinwäscherei with a lineup stretching from Brussels to Lucerne to Zurich, delivering uncompromising beats all night long. In the Halle, a true Mixwäsche of ZWZ all-stars, alongside with a very special side quest will make you find your soulmate for the dancefloor. Up in Rumpelkiste, a birthday celebration turns massive the way they know best: surrounded by local stars and friends.
