Monoski Klub is in mourning.
It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Will « JUNiOR », one of Verbier's finest residents, a funky angel in this viper's nest.
We have no photos or memories of Junior at the Klub; he wasn't a clubber. He didn't need that to be cool, because he was head and shoulders above the rest.
He probably came once or twice in 2020, shortly after we opened, just to make sure our establishment met the strict standards of FUNK and good taste. And probably once or twice a year after that, discreet and unassuming despite his superstar aura…
He was a friend and someone we always respected immensely. His countless exploits, most of which we don't even know about, took place outside of public venues, and even before Monoski Klub existed.
May he rest in peace, and our prayers and support go out to his wonderful wife and family. Not to mention his fan club, which is mourning one of the greatest heroes of the Alps these days.
