This one feels way too soon. Adam Tait joined our team less than a year and a half ago, yet this Saturday, Oct. 10, will be his last shift with us.
Adam was a great server and bartender but more importantly, he was kind, always willing to help his team, and always doing it with a smile. What really stood out was his ability to make people feel comfortable and welcome. With his easy going demeanour and a little goofiness (ok, maybe a lot), he had a gift for putting people at ease.
He also brought a fresh perspective to our cocktail menu. He loved to get creative, like that time he had the bartenders tying pandan leaves around a rocks glass for his excellent and well received pandan-lychee cocktail, the Panda's Elbow.
He was well loved by his team and our guests and we'll miss him very much. We'd usually say 'we'll see you around', but he's moving a very long way away. If you'd like to wish him well and say goodbye, stop by this weekend. We'd love to send him off properly, and he'd love to see some familiar faces one last time.
P.S. We’ve been lazy about staff features lately, so we thought this would be a great opportunity to bring them back, starting with Adam.
