A collective of bright enthusiastic, diverse and dynamic individuals, the members of Noble House look to the future and live in the now to bring the best in electronic music and entertainment to the fun loving people of Victoria and the Pacific Northwest. From the earliest developing days of the Electronic Music Scene in Victoria, Vancouver & the Pacific Northwest Noble House can
claim more firsts than almost any promotions group in the area operating today. Having produced our first ‘Rave’ called Love Gone Insane on September 28th 1993 Noble House soon found themselves riding upon a self created wave of cutting edge music, events and environments. With close to 800 club nights and parties under their belts in their first 12 years the Noble House name became synonymous with productions of the highest quality and by far and away the biggest names in dance music. From being the first to operate a legal underground all night / all ages dance club in Victoria (‘Basics’ ran for 47 consecutive Saturdays from midnight til 8am every Saturday from the closing night of the Commonwealth Games in 1994 through til Canada Day 1995), the legendary ?rest parties (including Donald Glaude’s island debut in 95 at the original, the snow storm of 96 at ?rest Ultra with DJ Dan and Kimball Collins in the 80 000sq ft movie studio in Burnaby, the insane line up at ?rest For Fun that headlined Sasha, DJ Dan, Taylor & Jimmy Van M to the ill-fated and expensive but non the less fun of ?rest Sensibility Protection party that was scheduled for the Memorial Arena and ended up playing out at the Sketchy Mex), both Cream UK parties with the ridiculous line-up at UBC that featured Sasha, Dave Seaman, Jimmy Van M & Taylor in 98 and the Victoria show that saw John Digweed and Dave Seaman lay it down huge at Memorial Arena and which was the subject of the Judge Jules radio show Global Chilling produced by Dave King and was an in-flight feature on all British Airways international flights for a month and the never to be forgotten Summer School series of events that started in the summer of 96 with another performance from Donald Glaude at the Curling Arena for $10 and the show that set the production and billing bar Summer School 2000 that featured a combined eight hour set from Sasha and John Digweed. Our list of debut bookings is long and includes the first bookings of Sasha and John Digweed in the Pacific Northwest and the first five bookings of them both in BC, Paul Oakenfold and Paul Van Dyk’s first visits to Vancouver, the first dozen or so and in some cases at least performances from Dave Seaman, DJ Dan, Jimmy Van M, Taylor, Jeno and Kimball Collins along with debut and follow up performances from Chris Fortier, Mark Hunt, John Debo, Sandra Collins, Garth, Craig Richards and many more enabled Noble House to operate in a league of their own for nearly a decade. The well in orbit 'Launch' nights that ran consecutively in Vancouver every Thursday night @ Sonar and in full on mode every Friday night at The Limit for almost 100 weeks were inevitably followed by one of a kind after parties at the AMA Club House aka 311 Water Street in Gastown and the 1818 Government Street AMA HQ's and have yet to be matched for their intensity and insane like amounts of fun. Despite having achieved more than a million dollars in ticket sales fierce competition from multi-national corporations such as Clear Channel and Benson and Hedges led to an overall production budget that exceeded this and an era that saw these benchmarks painfully and expensively slip away. With a fabled history, appreciative and educated fans Noble House has managed to survive and along with a core group and stable full of stud like resident DJ’s is back on track and is dedicated to making history happen and to bringing you the future now. We are striving to uphold our tradition of bringing people together in fun, safe, exciting and new environments by combining the very best in entertainment, production, hospitality and people at all our events and our sights are aimed yet once again at the top. Our commitment to quality not quantity will ensure that those who choose to participate in a Noble House event will be rewarded richly with the finest selection of DJ's, music and friendly faces on the planet.
