✨Prologue:
As the sun descends, a sanguine sky fades into deep amber, and the world—no longer bound by the rigid routines and blinding light of day—softly exhales. The frantic chatter of a bustling city is replaced by the low hum of a bassline and a choir of frogs. Owls, perched high above, roll their eyes at the trivial pursuits of the so-called “most intelligent species.” Beyond the reach of headlines, in a world that mistakes profit for purpose, a few beautifully unhinged humans who still believe in magic gather. An inviting rhythm poses a question: if we must work all day, should we not live a little at night? This is where Night Tales begins—with the pulse and pull of a ritual older than language itself, where the night remembers what the day has forgotten.

🌚The best tales are told in the dark🌚

🦇Welcome to “Night Tales,” a love letter to night owls, the misunderstood creatures of the night, and the imaginative visions of the finest musical storytellers. This is a dance floor committed to good sound, effective lighting, and connection within our q***r-dance community—yay, and disconnection from the material world—eww. Our musical collage spans dark, dream-like, emotive, nocturnal and natural-world narratives across the house/acid/liquid/proggy-house/proto-trance/techno realm. 🦇

🦉In the dark, there is no social hierarchy—AKA leave the ego with the babysitter. Instead, we ask that you come WITH INTENTION: leave behind drama, negativity, and judgement and bring presence, connection, or a mental, emotional or spiritual purpose for coming to dance. In particular, we consider phone usage to be a distraction on the dance floor. IF you’re going to use your phone to message or have full conversations, we ask that you do so at the back of the room near the couches/rest area. 🦉

🌙Tickets available on RA now—link in bio. Location details emailed out to ticket holders on the day of the event. We try to keep ticket prices affordable but for anyone feeling a financial pinch, we can do a “pay what you can” option. Just send us a PM. 🌙
