It’s been a long 2 years since we last had 𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕖𝕤𝕖 𝕄𝕖𝕥𝕔𝕒𝕝𝕗 play a Niche Underground event and we’re beyond thrilled to welcome her back. “The Seattle-based DJ and radio host thrives on the unexpected. The complexities and intricacies built within her sets create a dialogue between genres: from electro to EBM, Italo to techno, her vocabulary is vast and always rooted in the darker end of the spectrum. From Panorma Bar and Tresor in Berlin to Return to the Source and Club Toilet in Detroit, Intergalactic FM Festival in Hague, Nowadays in New York and Smartbar in Chicago, Sharlese has built an international reputation for moody, genre-defying sets that ricochet between a seductive beat and uplifting synth patterns.”
Welcome back Sharlese.

Pip is no stranger to our Vancouver scene. He is the founding father of Main Street Dance Authority and an active member our scene. We couldn’t be more grateful to have him warm up the floor this Saturday.

Residents ZZ and Fisher Bryce will be on support and Zaya will be doing double duty to make sure the lighting brings our stories to life.

🐈‍⬛ Here kitty kittyyyy! Dropping our final Night Tales of 2026. This spooky October edition features Seattle-based DJ and radio host Sharlese. It’s been 2 years since we had Sharlese play an event with Niche and we’ve been waiting for the opportunity to bring her back ever since. Also, founder of Main Street Dance Authority Pip will be making his Night Tales debut alongside residents Ziggy Zaya and Fisher Bryce. Ziggy Zaya is also doing double duty on lighting sorcery.

🌚 If you’ve been to a Night Tales before, then you know the drill. If you haven’t: this party is intimate by design. We know that smaller rooms allow for more concentrated acoustic energy, which makes you as a dancer feel ‘in the party’ not ‘watching the party.’ Night Tales was created to spotlight musical storytellers who bring a unique perspective and understand setting, nuance, and flow. This is a 100% DIY event committed to good sound, thoughtful lighting, and connection within our q***r dance community—yay—and disconnection from the material world—eww. Our musical collage spans dark, dreamlike, emotive, nocturnal, and natural-world narratives across the realms of house, acid, tribal, proggy house, trance, and techno.

✨ As part of our ongoing commitment to this community, we will be adding a harm-reduction member on site. As always, we hope you will continue to look out for one another, show up with intention, and make new faces feel welcome.

📅 October 3rd, 11pm-5am

And that’s really all you need to know.

But if you’d care to know a little more, here’s a more personal note from me (Fisher Bryce):

My intention for Pride Sunday is to gather with friends and chosen family, create a meaningful Pride experience, and shake our beautiful butts with whatever energy we have left at that hour. I hope you arrive with intention, too, because this party can be your sacred moment, your playground, your release, or whatever you need it to be.

If you’re new to Night Tales, this party was designed to spotlight musical storytellers who bring a unique perspective and understand setting, nuance, and flow.

This edition of Night Tales features q***r artists who help shape and sustain q***r dance communities both locally and beyond:

• Perfect Lovers— founder of the Por Detroit parties in Los Angeles and CDMX, and organizer of SOMOS, a q***r music festival held annually in Mexico.

• DJ dood — a busy bee. She is Programming Manager at Public Disco, Executive Assistant at Bass Coast, and the force behind local parties Full House and dood’s dancefloor.

• Ziggy Zaya — part of the Niche collective and lighting designer for The Birdhouse, Niche, and teXture.

• tenderwiggles — part of the Niche collective, always lending a hand with Niche and teXture setup and teardown, while also performing as one half of the duo Va**ng Mortal.

• Fisher Bryce — founder of Niche Underground and co-founder of teXture.

I hope you’ll join us to celebrate the final six hours of Pride with the people who help carry that spirit throughout the entire year.

🌙 To the moon and back,

Fisher Bryce
