Mike was a resident DJ at NOIR from our very first party at the COBALT, through our days at Chapel Arts, and right through that final night at 8X6 and we're thrilled to see him going on to such success.

Hey NOIR-ites. I'm hoping that those of you who are in position to can help out a longtime member of the fe**sh community, and one of the very first volunteers NOIR ever had. He built the stairs to the dungeon and suspension platform at our very first venue, worked the door on short notice when we needed it at Chapel Arts, and was there to help out in numerous other ways over the years.
Scott also helped out over the yeras at Sin City, BIO, and other events. He's volunteered countless hours on the DTES over the years—and his wife Andrea has been there to help.

Well now Scott could use our help. While all of us have spent the past year+ dealing with pandemic Scott was doing so on top of battling cancer. The double whammy wiped out his savings, leaving him in danger of losing all that he has built up over the past few years.

I'm hoping you'll check out the Go Fund Me I've started for Scott and Andrea. If you can give something it would be greatly appreciated, and if you can't I'd love if you can LIKE & SHARE this information so that we can better help two people who have helped so many others.

This weekend marks 10 years since the very first NOIR Fe**sh Ball. We chose the name because DJ Logik (Kim McCann) and I shared a love of film NOIR, and he tried to give our early flyers that aesthetic.

This was the very first teaser flyer Kim created in the summer of 2010, and for another two weeks we'd keep our venue, The Cobalt, entirely a secret. It would be just over two years before we moved the party to Chapel Arts and it really came into its own and became the NOIR people still approach me to say they miss today.
