When we opened in 2017, we chose our name with great intention. Picaro means rogue, a rascal with main character energy that perseveres by wit and charm and a fair measure of luck. We see ourselves as Picaros and we share this energy in so many of our guests. Picaro has endured through a location change and pandemic and bridge closures, surviving on the very wiles after which we are named. However, every epic chronicle ebbs and flows, and our journey has led us to the difficult decision to permanently close our doors on 20th St.

We do not see it as the end for Picaro. While this chapter is coming to its finale, we have hope that our beloved story will continue beyond the horizon. As with all great adventures, when and where and how remains to be seen.

And yet, our odyssey continues as we're still serving Picaro & Cohen's menu favorites (and more!) with Catering. We look forward to continuing to be a part of your special events, office lunches, and celebrations.

For all Picaro gift card holders, see below for our hours to redeem at Cohen's in the next two weeks, after which time, we will honor all gift cards at our sibling restaurant, UNA pizza + wine on Broadway.

Cohen's hours:

Wed July 16 – Sat July 19: 11:30am – 10:00pm

Wed July 23 – Sat July 26: 11:30am – 10:00pm

As we are saying hasta luego, we also want to say gracias. With the most heartfelt gratitude, it has been an honor and pleasure to have enjoyed this journey with you over the years. For sharing your support, laughter, and memorable moments with us, thank you for being a part of our story.
