A fire broke out last night on the top floor of The Irish Embassy. We're happy to report that everyone was evacuated safely and our neighbours and friends at the Embassy are all accounted for. Unfortunately the fire has forced the closure of our doors as well. We appreciate all the support we have recieved. This is obviously devastating for all of us. We hope to reopen our doors again in the near future. We will keep you posted with updates.

Irish Embassy pub on Bishop Street is closed and assessing water damage after a five-alarm fire broke out in the apartments above.
