With great sadness I have made the decision to permanently close Pink Flamingos. It is not an easy decision to make.
The first year and 2 months before the pandemic I was overwhelmed with the overflowing support from the community; we were doing so good. We are very happy that we could provide a space where people felt comfortable being themselves and provide
so much fun. Having amazing shows right from the beginning, creating events people wanted to see and all your suggestions made us so happy to have such a
positive response.
However, for almost two years, with the pandemic, having to open and close several times, caused such a strain on the business and also our mental health. We are unable to keep up with all the restrictions put in place for all of our
clients safety. Covid-19 has affected many small businesses and we are very proud that we made it this far into the pandemic. Closing the doors to Pink saddens us greatly, but we just have to accept it. Hopefully in the future some
other person will create another space like this for the community and we will help in anyway possible. It's just time to "pass the torch".
Thank you to all the employees, clients and performers for everything you've done for us and the community.
