Happy Wednesday everyone! First, don't forget to attend our general meeting tonight at 7:00PM!

Here's what else is happening at your Air Force Vets Club this week;

Thursday night crib is back for the summer tomorrow! Registration is at 6:30 and play begins at 7PM so come enjoy an evening at your club.

The Toonie Draw will take place at 5:30 on Friday evening. Come on out any day of the week, buy any beverage and you can buy a $2.00 Toonie ticket.

A dance featuring the music of Daniel & Carole will take place from 7:30 to 11:00PM Friday evening. Come down to your AFVCM and dance the night away!

There will be a washer toss tournament this Saturday afternoon. Registration starts at 1:30 and play begins at 2PM. Come down to the club, have some fun and maybe win some cash!

Karaoke with the Man in Black is on as always, this Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Come in to your AFVCM to sing, dance, or sing along!

Last but not least, Randy's Golf Tournament is back by popular demand on September 12th. It will be a 1PM shotgun start at Country Meadows Golf Club so mark your calendars!

A couple of important notes I want to share...First, our automatic door openers have finally been installed making it easier for our limited mobility members to enjoy our club.

Also very important! Our next general meeting is on June 17th at 7PM. Make plans to be there and find out what is happening in and around our club over the summer!

There will also be an evening washer toss tournament on Saturday, June 13th. Registration is at 5:30 and play begins at 6PM. No experience is necessary, so come down and have some fun and maybe win some cash!

Karaoke with the Man in Black is on every Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Come in to your AFVCM and sing, dance, and sing along!

Congratulations to Reg Lebans and his group who found the Ace of Spades and took home the jackpot and the 20% prize for a total of $10,725.50! We will apply for a new licence to start another draw in September. Thank you for your support of our Chase the Ace fundraiser which enables us to do maintenance and undertake improvement projects around our club.

No need to cook this Friday! Our friends from Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue will be serving up a barbecued beef burger or chicken breast burger with potato salad for $10.00 per plate. Come out and enjoy a barbecue meal, followed by cake to celebrate all our May birthdays!
