There's something so fitting about listening to Cissoko and Goetze's haunting melodies on a blustery winter night like this. Goetze, who has performed his work at Carnegie Hall, the Gasteig Munich, the Kennedy Centre and other top venues, complements and completes the French-speaking Cissoko, a star in West Africa and Europe. One solitary voice from the trumpet entwines with an African voice of hope and solitude.

These two world music superstars will be coming to Waterloo Region for the first time ever - in concert 8pm Sunday October 27. Tickets $35 at the door. Goetze and Cissoko will also be presenting their film GRIOT at 1:30pm at The Chrysalids Theatre, and taking Q&A afterwards. Admission to the film is free!
