On Saturday, October 7, our friends .ca present an oral history of Tony Wilson's famed Hacienda nightclub, from the opening notes of Cabaret Voltaire's 'A Thousand Ways' on May 21, 1982, to the dying tremolo of Elliot Eastwick's 'Freak' on the eve of the institution's definitive closure on June 28, 1997.
