We’re Axecited to back this year throwing axes at the wonderful Memory Lane Heritage Village. It’s always a treat to be with these terrific folks showing people the sport we love. Come give us a visit next to the bbq and b**r gardens!

The festival will run from 11 AM to 4 PM and is a showcase of the many ways Nova Scotians connect to our forests for their livelihood, housing, recreation, food, and heritage. Featuring live horse logging demonstrations, axe throwing, hands-on activities & heritage demonstrations for all ages.

From Timberlake to Timber Lounge!

When a hit TV series set in the fictional Nova Scotia town of Timberlake needs an axe-throwing location… Timber Lounge seems like a pretty natural fit!

We had the pleasure of welcoming the cast and crew of Sullivan’s Crossing when they filmed an episode right here in our Dartmouth location! They have even been back a few times to throw more axes with us!

It was pretty cool to see our lanes transformed into part of the Sullivan’s Crossing world and know that a little piece of Timber Lounge made it onto the screen.

Now the question is…
Have you spotted Timber Lounge while watching the show?

And if watching it makes you want to throw a few axes yourself, you know where to find us!

It’s an honour once again for the owner of the Timber Lounge Darren Hudson to hoist the Eber L. Peck memorial plaque again in Hibernia this year!
“To be added to the long list of champions who have fought to be on the top is nothing short of a true honour. This family tree trophy is a representation of the values that so many of us in the sport have held dear and each with their own stories of trial and triumph.”
This trophy has meant so much to those over the years who were fortunate enough to have their names etched in it.
“ it was great to see a high turnout in the junior and intermediate divisions. It makes my heart glad to see the sport continue to grow!”

The kids are heading back to school soon… maybe it’s time you learned something new too!

Our next Dartmouth Axe Throwing League kicks off September 1st & 2nd, and if you’ve been thinking about joining us, this is your sign.

You don’t need to be an axe throwing expert. You don’t need your own axes. And you definitely don’t need to know what you’re doing on night one.

That’s kind of the point!

League is where you learn, get better, meet a pretty great group of people, and discover that you may be slightly more competitive than you thought!

Choose the night that works for you:

Tuesday nights — starting September 1st
Wednesday nights — starting September 2nd
7:30 PM
7 weeks

Come for the axe throwing. Stay for the people, the laughs, the rivalries, and the satisfaction of watching yourself get better every week. Oh, yeah, come for the AXEceptional b**r on tap from our Fall League sponsor, North Brewing Company!

New season. New skill. New excuse to look forward to a YOU night!

Spots are limited, so grab yours at https://www.timberlounge.ca/league.html

Plot twist: you’re probably better at axe throwing than you think!

And if you’re not? That’s half the fun!

You don’t need experience, you don’t need to be particularly strong, and you definitely don’t need to know what you’re doing before you arrive.

Our coaches will help you find the right axe, work on your throw, keep the competition moving, and celebrate with you when you hear that perfect THUNK!

Bring the friends who’ll cheer for you, chirp you when you miss, and immediately claim their bullseye was “all skill.” 😂

Your next great night out could start with one throw.
