After several months of contemplation and reflection, the four of us on the Radiate team have officially decided to retire from this beloved project.

Our reason for Radiate has been to create supportive, engaging collective experiences for the Calgary underground electronic music community. The beauty of fostering expression through sound and visual art has given us the energy to hold this space. Most importantly, Radiate was a team project comprised of a group of best friends, and this collaboration built something unique and refreshing for the Calgary scene.

With the reality that two of our core team members now live a province away, and with all of us entering new phases in our lives, we no longer have the capacity to produce events and foster community connections to the standard we aim to uphold.

The four of us would like to extend our warmest thanks to anyone who shared their energy at our event spaces or contributed to our online community in any capacity. You are the pulse of what made Radiate such a special event series.

All of us at Radiate HQ hope you’ve been having an amazing summer. It’s been a minute! Come join us at Modern Love for our date next Tuesday September 3. This end-of-summer patio gathering goes from 5–10pm and will feature sets from Finn, .wav and Radiate crew members and Mother Mary, plus what promises to be a rowdy B4B at the end of the evening! ❤️‍🔥

What a way to close out the season a few weekends ago , we're still feeling the waves off that one! A total journey of sound from open to close. was extra dialed in and the visuals displayed from were mesmerizing.

The Radiate crew is sending out our love and appreciation for all those that came through to our last event with , and all our other shows we’ve hosted and collaborated on this past season. Signing out for the summer festival season and wishing our community a vibrant and relaxing summer ahead. We shall see you in the fall! ✌️✨🤍

The Radiate peer support team will be back at this party, roaming the space and making themselves available for support, and de-escalation if needed, to ensure a high standard of respectful interpersonal conduct keeps the rave environment peaceful. Radiate has been in love with our partnership with and their warm, heavy, and extremely high-powered professional quality soundsystem for over a year now, and we are deepening our relationship with the Ionic family by hosting our June 15 event at their stomping grounds, Evolved Movement Arts. This room is one of the best and most beloved underground spaces in the city and we are excited to be bringing the Radiate crew to the space! is the producer, DJ, visual artist, and curator whose relentless passion for electronic music and its community lies at the heart of Radiate. His sonic palette pulls influences from both sides of the Atlantic, and steadily expands as his world evolves, notably inspired by a recent move to the West Coast. He deftly fuses themes of techno, bass, breaks, footwork and contemporary jungle in his DJ sets and productions. Radiate was fortunate enough to connect with emerging local talent TREXX () recently and this lineup is perfect to showcase their unique style. They hail from Hong Kong and have made their home in Calgary since the age of 8. Trexx brings a penchant for blending influences from different cultures, as well as combining ethereal sounds with harsher ones. Come hear the surprising and danceable results. ✨
