After several months of contemplation and reflection, the four of us on the Radiate team have officially decided to retire from this beloved project.
Our reason for Radiate has been to create supportive, engaging collective experiences for the Calgary underground electronic music community. The beauty of fostering expression through sound and visual art has given us the energy to hold this space. Most importantly, Radiate was a team project comprised of a group of best friends, and this collaboration built something unique and refreshing for the Calgary scene.
With the reality that two of our core team members now live a province away, and with all of us entering new phases in our lives, we no longer have the capacity to produce events and foster community connections to the standard we aim to uphold.
The four of us would like to extend our warmest thanks to anyone who shared their energy at our event spaces or contributed to our online community in any capacity. You are the pulse of what made Radiate such a special event series.
