Dear Fugazi Family,

After almost 4 years, our Belgian journey has come to an end. With heavy hearts, we have decided to close Fugazi in Belgium. What started in 2022 as a dream grew, thanks to you, into an internationally recognized cocktail bar.

We are deeply grateful for all the support from day one, our guests, our community, our team, our partnerships, our suppliers and everyone who believed in us. Because of you, Fugazi was put on the map not only in Ghent, but far beyond.
From Athens to Paris, London to Berlin, Amsterdam to Madrid,….we’ve been able to share our passion and receive global recognition.

We proudly look back at what we achieved together:
• Crowned Best Cocktail Bar in Belgium at the Gault&Millau Awards 2025.
• Honored for having the award of most beautiful interior in Ghent.
• Hosted International guestshifts with big stars from the industry, hosted branded events.
• ⁠Collaborations with Michelin Star chefs.
• And above all, creating a home for unforgettable nights and memories.

We also want to take a moment to thank our incredible team. Davina, Stan, Lydia, Audeline who have been by our side, supporting us in every way possible.
You were the ones who helped build the Fugazi story, who shaped it into what it became. Together, we celebrated milestones, won awards, and created memories that will last forever. Without them, none of this would have been possible. ❤️

We poured our heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into Fugazi. And although this chapter comes to an end, the story and memories will live on.

Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. ❤️

Culinary Innovator Awards

Under a scorching sun and surrounded by innovation and culinary artistry, Fugazi brought the refreshment to the GM Culinary Innovator Awards at the stunning Verbeke Foundation this past Monday.

As the proud winner of Gault&Millau “Best Cocktailbar of Belgium”, we were invited to shake things up for the evening and what better way to start the event with a Don Julio Paloma. 🍹✨

We crafted over 500 drinks for an incredible crowd of guests, chefs, influencers,…offering a cooling, complex, and totally crushable cocktail that welcomed everyone with flavor and flair. On a day that pushed the limits of summer heat, this was the ultimate icebreaker.

Big love to Diageo Belgium, Keep It Quiet and Gault&Millau for having us, and shoutout to every guest who came back for seconds (and thirds 😉). Nights like this remind us why we do what we do.

We had the absolute pleasure of collaborating with the luminous Emma Verhelst, whose elegance carries a kind of quiet power, and some mystical vibes.

It was all about the evening vibes and after dark allure, that moment when the last sip lingers, the city slows down, and everything feels a little more intimate. Velvet, silk, whispers, candlelight.

FUGAZI x FITZ’S BAR — A NIGHT TO REMEMBER ✨

Amsterdam, you were incredible! Fugazi took over Fitz’s Bar during the Amsterdam Cocktail Week for a one-of-a-kind guest shift, in collaboration with Rémy Martin, and the energy was off the charts!

From well balanced drinks to an electric atmosphere, we had the pleasure of serving wonderful guests, including some of the most respected names in Amsterdam’s bartending scene. The connection between Fugazi & Fitz’s was undeniable, proving once again that great bars bring great people together.

Big thanks to Thalys Busman for making this happen, the Fitz’s Bar team for the hospitality and to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable night.

The underground Parisian magic of Moonshiner brought a touch of mystery and elegance to Fugazi. Ivan’s craftsmanship and expertise had the crowd mesmerized, proving why Moonshiner is one of the most respected bars in Paris.

🍸 LINE (Athens) – Agelos & Stasa
A celebration of global talent with a global reputation! Line Athens never fails to impress, and Agelos & Stasa delivered an unforgettable night filled with creative twists, bold flavors, and the energy that makes Athens’ cocktail scene so special.
