Our first Old Fashioned workshop was about understanding the classic and learning how to make it the best way possible.
This one goes further.
We’ll start with a quick reminder of the small details that make a great Old Fashioned: dilution, ice, balance, bitters, texture.
Then, instead of following one recipe, you’ll learn how to transform the cocktail while keeping its identity.
Different whiskies and spirits, homemade syrups, bitters, infusions, fat washes…
A whole selection of homemade preparations will be available for you to explore and play with.
Throughout the workshop, Harouna will prepare 5 different Old Fashioneds for you to taste, each showing how one change can completely transform the cocktail.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll create your own twist on the Old Fashioned using the ingredients and preparations available.
