It was 2015 when we brought the first Cheeseburger Dumpling to Australia. It became a loved and iconic signature. Unlike others, we didnt claim to be the first, that credit went to a couple in Portland Oregon who had spent time in China and returned home to run the Dump Truck. We were inspired to create this with the help of an amazing chef Mathew Butcher. This went on to be a much loved dish on our sister kitchen Kuku Mama's menu for years. We just launched a new menu and rumour has it that the original recipe will be back in the New Year

Tonight it is our pleasure to bring to your attention Melbourne's hottest new trend to try ~ Ladies and gentlemen....THE CHEESEBURGER DUMPLING! 🍔🍥KukuMama have created a pop-up kitchen in Melbourne's Hoo haa Bar showcasing a very exciting pan Asian / Deep Southern American fusion! Their menu is quirky and fun including some amazing cocktails to get you going all night long! Think mac and cheese sqaures, fried chicken ribs and southern fried chicken bao! As for cocktails, 'The C**k on the Rocks' goes down an absolute treat 😂💁 Make sure to add it to your must-try list on your next night out 👌
