Fur Coat: Recovery Pardi 2026 lineup is here!

Keeping it community this Mardi Gras, we’re going in our own backyard and introducing some new faces to our dancefloor.

Inviting not one but two guests from up north, Meanjin/brisbane-based legends PeachTings & Sweaty Baby PLUS two friendly talented locals from around the corner, Cosmic Boogie's very own Rubio & Cafe Brasil .

In between these wonderful people are your Fur Coat DJs Sophie Forrest Nick Spurway SVEN & Matt Jay

Fur Coat returns for our first party in 2026, with an expanded, extended and exuberant Mardi Gras all-day recovery Mardi edition, down at , our rave cave in the inner west.💃🏻🪩

Whether you’re going all weekend or just dipping your toes in, Fur Coat is the destination for all qu**rs and their peers this MG season, with 12 hours of residents and special guest DJs.

Rounding out our q***r quartet is the incomparable Sophie Forrest, now residing alongside SVEN in Naarm/melbourne.

A fixture on the DJ scene and championing trans excellence through and through, Sophie heads up not only Fur Coat Club, but is one half of SWEATY with Nick Spurway, creator of Transenergy, Sweet Cheeks Records and even a hot sauce, Come Call Me Cute, Sophie may just be the most tireless voice in our collective.

Returning Shady Lady and Eora/Sydney export SVEN returns to the decks for our birthday this Friday.

The other half of The Shady Ladies with Matt Jay, SVEN plays darker, fiercer and when it comes to our party, he is a bedrock of organisation and producing skills that Fur Coat cannot do without.🕺

Re-introducing Fur Coat DJs to you all, starting with Matt Jay. Before FC, Matty threw numerous parties across Eora/sydney, including co-running the infamous and widely adored Love Club parties in the mid 2010s, scattered across the inner west at various legal and dubiously legal locations.

Our resident graphic designer and audio engineer, Matty is an indisputable rock in our little quartet of q***rdom.

When not DJing solo, he’s also a part of The Shady Ladies, a DJ duo with himself and SVEN.

Fresh from another stellar set at Panorama Bar and making his Fur Coat Club debut, we welcome Gadigal/sydney’s DJ Simon Caldwell.

A stalwart of just about every kind of party you can imagine, including one of the Mad Racketeers and host of FBi Radio Sunsets on Monday nights, Simon has been slinging tunes every which way for more than thirty years both here and abroad. And now, making his way to our gender bender discotheque🪩
