COME CELEBRATE OUR CLOSING WITH US!

After a wild & adventurous 15 year ride - Bad Mama Surry Hills will cease trading this coming Sunday Dec 21st.

To the many who came and enjoyed our Food, our Drinks, our Live Music, our Art & our Special Atmosphere - we say thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!

To operate for over 15 years (including surviving Covid) was only made possible by our many wonderful loyal & loving customers who came & supported us & returned over & over again to our unique little venue.

So to celebrate the final week of our 15 year journey we’re offering a 20% DISCOUNT ON ALL FOOD & DRINKS from Tuesday 16th until we close on Sunday Dec 21st.

We hope to see you all & raise a glass or 3 to the next adventure - Bad Mama will be back!

🌟 We’re on American TV!

We’re thrilled to share that Bad Mama Keelung is featured in the latest season of the Emmy-nominated PBS series Lucky Chow — Season 7, Episode 3!

Created and hosted by the amazing Danielle Chang, Lucky Chow is a well-known show across the US that explores Asian food and culture from around the world.

This season, the journey brought them to Taiwan — and we’re proud to be part of it. Danielle captured our little bar in Keelung with such mood and magic — like a Wong Kar-wai film.

We’re truly in the mood for love with how she told our story.

The episode also shares our journey — from Bondi Beach, Australia, to Keelung, Taiwan — and the heart behind Bad Mama.
