We're two floors up from the Esplanade in a room with the doors folded back, terracotta on the walls and a kitchen run by women. It's Surfers, but not as you know it.

4217 and 4218, 25% off the total bill from 5pm every Wednesday.

*Not in conjunction with any other offer.

Wednesdays belong to the people who live here. 4217 and 4218, get 25% off your total bill from 5pm.

In the Mediterranean, a midweek dinner isn't an occasion. It's just what you do – the same place, same order, same faces. We'd like Wednesday to work that way here.

Bring your ID.

*Not in conjunction with any other offer.

The whole list is built for aperitivo. Low, bitter, cold, made to open an appetite rather than sit on top of one – so the second tastes as good as the first and the third still makes sense. Start wherever you like. Aperitivo from 4.

The ocean out front. A crisp, cold beverage in your hand. The Esplanade somewhere below it all. Nowhere to be. This is Valentina.

From here it's a straight run to the end of the year. The work lunch, a hens party, the one where half the friend group hasn't seen each other since last December. Somebody has to organise it.

Our large group menus are built for exactly that – set, shared, plates down the middle, so the ordering takes a minute instead of the first half hour. The room seats big groups without turning into a function.

Swipe for the guide, or comment 'group' and our team will be in touch.

Most people’s view of the Cup is a screen and the back of someone’s fascinator 👀 Ours comes with ocean views, spritzes and a Mediterranean twist.

Melbourne Cup at Valentina is three hours of flowing w**es, beers and speciality spritzes, indulgent grazing stations, roaming canapés, live music and all the race-day action across two screens — plus sweeps, best dressed and plenty of reasons to settle in for the afternoon. Melbourne Cup, meet the Mediterranean.

Early bird tickets $180pp until 30 September. Comment EARLY BIRD and we'll send you the link to book 💌
