Yesterday, we lost a very dear friend โ and Port Douglas lost one of its true legends. ๐ช๐ค๐ชฝ
Michael Gabour was a true gentleman, a Port Douglas icon, a damn right legend, and one of the most interesting people weโve ever had the privilege of knowing.
He lived a thousand lives in one lifetime. Every conversation came with a story, an adventure, a lesson, or a laugh. He had a way of captivating a room without ever trying, and always left you richer for having spent time with him.
Michael was a familiar face at Watergate, someone who brought warmth, character and conversation through our doors time and time again. He wasnโt just a guest, he was a treasured friend who was more like family, and someone we loved dearly. ๐
Fly high on that Harley-Davidson in the sky, Michael. ๐๏ธ๐ชฝ We hope the road is endless, the stories are flowing, and the wind is always in your hair.
You will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered. ๐๏ธ
