Dark Vibes - Perth Nightlife’s Darker Alternative
From the crew that brought you Incursion Alternative Parties comes “Dark Vibes”. After spending 2 years away from Perth, in late 2019 we hosted a small one off event as Incursion at Perth’s newest alternative small bar Akademi in North Perth. We were expecting to see all the familiar faces from Incursion’s hay day but instead we noticed a fresh new scene screaming for somewhere different and darker to hang out and party! This was the inspiration for Dark Vibes.
Dark Vibes is the darker alternative in Perth’s nightlife scene, our parties will focus on pumping out the best in new and classic dark alternative music at a niche venue that will give you the freedom to enjoy darker and edgier music that you wont hear in Perth’s more popularised alternative/dive bars, while still bringing you that rock ‘n roll party vibe... just darker ;)
We have set up our home for Dark Vibes at Akademi Small Bar in North Perth, a truly unique alternative bar best known for its kink and fe**sh themed events. Akademi is tucked away in a convenient yet secluded spot on Charles St in North Perth and the layout of Akademi will give you the opportunity to enjoy the Dark Vibes experience the way you want - Enter through the secret book case doors and dance your ass off on the dance floor, or share stories with friends and strangers while drinking cocktails by the bar or smash back a bowl of nacho’s in the cafeteria themed dining area, you party the way you want to party!
While the we crew at Dark Vibes have a vision for what we want Dark Vibes to be, this will be a club for the people who want to support it, constructive feedback and passionate party goers will help us shape what Dark Vibes can become.
