City Evolutions, Newcastle Australia City Evolutions will take visitors on a journey through Watt Street’s history with a fusion of storytelling and cutting edge art.

City Evolutions is an exciting initiative started in Newcastle, Australia to revitalise the east end of the city, and promote Newcastle’s oldest street, Watt Street, as a destination for safe evening entertainment and cultural experiences. This self guided night time attraction will launch on 21 June 2013 with a series of interactive light projections on Watt Street buildings that will be visible

from sun down through to 10pm. This page is a hub for anyone who is interested in learning more about City Evolutions and contributing your own stories, pictures and videos relating to Watt Street’s history. Join in the conversations, share your knowledge and imagery and ask us questions. Together we can tell the story of Watt Street, Newcastle and contribute to the revitalisation of our city centre. This initiative is being funded by the Department of Energy, Resources and Tourism under T-QUAL grants, the Office of Environment and Heritage, The City of Newcastle and Newcastle NOW.
