I’ve been blessed with some really fun recording experiences during my drumming career, but none were as satisfying as today’s session at Hailstone Studio Nunawading, laying down three tracks for master of Aussie slide guitar Paulie Bignell, of Paulie Bignell and the Thornbury Two and of course a founding member of the fabulous Detonators.

A consummate recording genius, what started out as nerves became an adventure I thoroughly enjoyed as I worked through his original songs on my 1946 Leedy Broadway kit. Stay tuned for track samples!
