It’s been long overdue but whilst taking down the Korova Milk Bar sign out on Bourke Street a flurry of memories came to me so I write this post with a deep sense of sadness but an air of happiness that this place created some amazing times and some parties where the floors and walls shook and with these memorable parties at this pint sized Venue an infamy grew with it.
I’m certain all that frequented were left with an indelible experience, lifelong friends or possibly lifelong partners.
To all the staff who served proudly here, I am appreciative for the long hours you put in without a whimper, you guys more than anyone facilitated that enjoyable experience much love.
A special mention to Noel Alexander, he spent almost 10 years on that door and always kept a smile that rivaled Luna Parks.
To the artists/DJs who either started here or were seasoned veterans keep rocking those dance floors.
The end of Korova Milk Bar is not a bad thing, it just means something else is about to begin..................
