The Inner West’s best late night, low light music emporium. If you like friendly priced drinks, retro décor, and a warm and inviting atmosphere till the silly hours of the morning, we have you covered! Our institution on Enmore Road hosts a variety of weekly events across a series of musical avenues. Most prominently, it’s Saturday night event, Foxlife brings a host of local and international DJs

and live acts from the deep, tech, minimal and techno electronic genres. The re-design of the venue has converted it into a comfortable nightclub and bar setting boasting a Funktion One sound system amongst an array of dimly lit lampshades hanging from the ceiling.

SLYFOX Reunion Party - Friday 2nd February at Carousel

18/01/2024

Today marks four years since our last dance in Enmore, after we were forced to shut the doors of our late-night live music venue by the inner west council on January 18, 2020.

In the time since, we've grieved, healed, and established new endeavours. And now, it's time to reunite the gang under the familiar lampshades. We've called upon our nearest, dearest, and past residents to 'fly the fox' once again – and fly we shall.

"Lines like this probably contributed to the insignificant group of narrow-minded boomers that had a problem with SLYFOX, but to the majority this was a sign that the walls inside would be dripping with the sweat of a club full of ravers out for nothing but a good time. I had just begun working full time for SLYFOX, and this night in particular was my first real test at hosting an event, one of our resident Foxlife Saturday nights. Alexkid was in town to headline, with Dan Baartz, Jackson Winter, Nathan Munro and Matt Crowe on support. A lineup full of friends made my job easier and this was a memorable night where everything came together in perfect harmony. The venue filled up faster than a schooner poured by Nik Kos and the rest is a blur of espresso martinis and good honest house music until 6am.

If it weren't for SLYFOX and the team (namely Kerry Wallace), I wouldn't be where I am today. The venue and the team gave me a start in the industry I love." - Dylan Ross

"Back in 2015, as a fresh face in Sydney with really not much idea what I was doing, I started working for SLYFOX. Best fu***ng decision I ever made.

It definitely had its ups and downs, with one such occasion having me somehow back on the tools and the barrow, ripping open the stage and filling it with 3 tonnes of sand in a soundproofing attempt, only to find out half way through we had a few hours to get it done cause Gang of Youths were coming to play a surprise show... still owe you for saving me that day Jono Friend

Besides regular grooming of the Fox herself, I dove into the deep end of being a pencil pusher and learning from the sidelines how to run a seriously good small venue, with awesome staff, no compromise on sound, no compromise on equipment and an emphasis on creating a comfortable space for everyone.

Sly has opened doors for me and many others so its tragic to see them have to close theirs but we have two last chances to give her the send off she deserves, this Friday and Saturday. I'll be having one last spin in that beloved booth tonight from 3am with Dan Baartz..." - Jackson Winter
