It was built in 1926 - the Federation era and in recent years, has been lovingly restored. y, there is a large covered outdoor entertainment area at the rear of the house, a covered verandah which winds around the side and a covered area at the front of our home. You will be welcomed into one of our beautifully furnished bedrooms with Queen sized bed and built in wardrobe in each. For your comfort the room has a ceiling fan and heating for the colder months. There is a large, full guest bathroom and upon request, you are more than welcome to use our kitchen and laundry. You even have the use of a refrigerator which we provide specifically for our guests. When you arrive you will have your own driveway which is our second entrance to the property. There is also plenty of space for a boat, caravan or motorhome. We will invite you to relax in our formal guest lounge where you will have access to a TV including bluray player (feel free to watch any of our DVDs/Blurays)

This includes – cereals, milk, tea, coffee, toast OR you could enjoy freshly made pancakes with fruit and yoghurt. Tea and coffee (instant or pod) is available any time during your stay. Our children are adults and do not live at home so there is just us. This means you can enjoy complete privacy with plenty of space to do your own thing, remembering that we are always available to chat or help with any enquiries
You will not be able to smoke inside the house and we do ask that our guests respect our home and the neighbours in our street. Culcairn is a small town – population about 1400. We are situated in a quiet, no through road. Culcairn is a busy agricultural centre and boasts a number of heritage buildings such as the Memorial Hall, Court House, Railway Station and the Culcairn Hotel. It is a short, 3 minute walk to the shops from the house or for a bit more exercise you can cycle or walk around all or part of Culcairn's 7 km walking and bicycle track. The area plays host to various agricultural shows (including The Henty Field Days), festivals,car shows and lifestyle shows. You can travel to and from the area with ease by road or train. If you are travelling by train we are more than happy to provide transport to and from the railway station (a very short drive from our place). Culcairn is a well placed spot to stop while you are travelling eg. Sydney to Melbourne. For regular business and personal travellers we will negotiate a special rate. The highways allow for excellent, easy travelling to a great range of surrounding areas and if you are staying for a few days we encourage you to plan day trips to places such as Beechworth, Rutherglen and Bright, as well as explore neighbouring towns like Henty and Walla Walla. There are maps and information about the area and surrounding districts in your room and we will be very happy to help with any of your enquiries. Enjoy the great features of a small country town and have access to major centres like Albury (35 minutes away) and Wagga Wagga (50 minutes away).
