We are a no phones 📵 zone and very rarely do people see us getting down online ~ but someone sent us these and a little glimpse we thought into the window … of our solstice special outdoor dance last night. The setting was incredible!! 😍 is always a delight to dance at.

🌿 WE DANCE TONIGHT // MEET YOUR ARTISTS

Weaving the winter solstice dance journey will be FNQ’s Intrepid By Design, who’s set creation is inspired by this cyclic occasion. Expect a diverse global dance journey for every body including tribal, percussive and deeply nourishing earth-elements of the inward time of winter into expansive, high vibe frequencies for fun & flight welcoming the season of spring!

Landing the journey will be Leilana Grace (Moments in Touch) providing 20 minute sound integration ‘shavasana’ using amplified multi-instrumental sacred sounds, voice & song to close.

This very special occasion sees Under 18s ok ~ all welcome on this special occasion, dancing outdoors under the luscious, tropical canopy of Skypark, Smithfield.... TONIGHT!

Fri 19/6 we are heading back to for a Winter Solstice, all ages outdoor ecstatic dance. This is a rare and once in a blue moon (once a yr thang!) all community welcome dance 🤗 Gather your tribe, and come dance on natures dance floor with us ✨🍃

OUR FLOW:

6PM doors open + communiTea / cacao avail
6.45 doors closed / guidelines & winter solstice opening
7PM Winter solstice ecstatic dance journey by DJ
8.30PM Sound integration shavasana by
8.50-9 circle and close

TO BRING:

~ BYO mug for communiTea (teas complimentary)
~ cash or card for 💯 local, ceremonial hot cacao ☕️ by Organic Matter Wholefood ($10 per cup)
~ yoga matt/blanket to lay on grass
~ warm clothes for pre and post dance
~ torch for exit out of Skypark, back to your car (carpooling thread avail in our FB group btw)
~ offerings to contribute to our natural earth alter such as flowers or the like.

🍃There may be sprinkles @ Smithfield over the next week or on the day, which never kept a good earth-celebration down and we will be dancing no matter the weather, together then xo

MEET YOUR DJ // STARSEED💫🎶

In 2004, two hotel rookies traded uniforms for turn-tables. Side-by-side with Will Brisbane, I learned break-beat cuts, hip-hop scratches, and seamless blends that once lit Cairns nightlife. A long hiatus called me inward, yet rhythm kept breathing inside.

Spiritual awakening shifted the compass: bars lost their shine, but sound kept whispering until Ecstatic Dance appeared — barefoot, sober, heart-open space where genre walls dissolve and BPMs rise and fall like breath. Curiosity drew me in; the mirror revealed new wings.
