FRONT 2 BACK x RADIOHEAD

This Wednesday 28th October, FRONT 2 BACK gets lost in the layers of Radiohead, exploring two records that saw the band break away from conventional song structures and push deeper into rhythm, texture and atmosphere.

🎧 In Rainbows (2007)
The slow burn. Built on intricate guitar work, off-kilter rhythms and rich, layered arrangements, the record moves between the pulsing bassline of N**e, the tangled percussion of 15 Step and the swelling orchestration of All I Need. Every listen reveals something new beneath the surface.

💿 The King of Limbs (2011)
The rhythmic deep dive. Driven by looping drums, fragmented samples and hypnotic repetition, the album finds Radiohead leaning into the spaces between sounds. From the interlocking percussion of Bloom to the ghostly, shape-shifting layers of Lotus Flower, it’s a record that unfolds more like a living rhythm than a traditional rock album.

D.D. Mirage take over Stan’s this Friday.

The Sydney duo of Josh Dives and Disky Dee have quickly become one of the key names in Australia’s Balearic new wave, blending disco, synth pop, post punk, street soul and lovers rock into something built for both sun drenched afternoons and late night dancefloors.

Following the release of their debut album Exotic Illusions, sold out live shows and sets at Dark M**o and Strawberry Fields, they bring their deep digging selections to Stan’s.
