Well… after 10 years, Adam and I have officially sold Electric Avenue.

It’s pretty hard to put nearly a decade into just one post. Electric Avenue has been such a massive part of our lives. There have been plenty of highs, plenty of lows, some very long nights, a lot of laughs and more memories than we could ever count.

To everyone who ever walked through our doors, thank you. Whether you came in for a b**r, dinner, a cocktail, a first date, a birthday, a wedding, a Sunday roast, or somehow found your way upstairs to Mrs J. Rabbits… you were the reason we got to do this for as long as we did.

Most importantly, we want to thank our families, and especially our partners, Lisa and Lauren. ❤️ Hospitality isn’t always an easy industry, and owning a business definitely doesn’t stop when you walk out the door. Thank you for putting up with the late nights, weekends, phone calls, stress and everything else that came with the ride.

To every manager, chef, bartender, waiter, glassy, musician and staff member who has been part of Electric Avenue over the years, thank you. So many of you became great mates and helped shape Electric into what it became.

We’re incredibly proud of what we created, but the time feels right to hand Electric Avenue over to its new owners, Lloyd and James, and let them write the next chapter. We wish them nothing but success and can’t wait to see where they take it.
