It has happened again, we're having to cancel tonight's show due to issues with the venue. Refunds on all tickets will be made on Monday. An email will go out to all ticket holders this morning with further details.

To say that I'm devastated is an understatement. I must also take this opportunity to tell you that this will be the end of Naked Ostrich Burlesque for a while. I have run out of time, energy and brain space to continue, every month presented a new problem and the problems have just grown too large for one Smooch to handle as well as live all of the other parts of my life to their fullest. Burlesque is really special to me and has helped me overcome some pretty dark times, NOB was created as a thank you to give back to the Brisbane Burlesque Community and to spread the word of Burlesque to people who were unaware of what empowerment looks like. I am so very grateful to have had the opportunity and so grateful for every bum in seat that we had over the 8 shows that ran (most of them sold out), if that was you thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of something special. Thank you to all of the performers we had on our stage, you make my whole body smile, inspire me endlessly and the show obviously wouldn't have actually been a thing without you. Thank you to the photographers for making us look as amazing in still life as we do in the real world. Thank you to everyone who gave their time to be on the door and be stage hands, it's crazy hard for me to ask for help and you guys offering yourselves to me is huge. Lastly thank you to Betty's Espresso & Bar, Serpent & Siren Tattoo and Gothica hair for giving NOB a home. You ladies are the baddest bi***es I have ever met, so fierce, so supportive of eachother and of all of the women (and men.. and everyone in between) around you. I'm constantly in awe of the things that come out of your little house and I love you all deeply.

Against all common sense, Fortuna followed her passion home to Brisbane and continued the torrid affair at the Bombshell Burlesque Academy. With her signature arched brow and her intriguing Neo burlesque acts, she hooks her audience at first glance and leaves them spellbound.

The whispers are true, Naked Ostrich Burlesque had to find a new venue very last minute and we thought if we're going to be dirty why don't we do it properly and hold it at The Vic! So this month's show will now be run in the city at The Victory Hotel! Turns out they have a Sailor Jerry's room that was made for us and it isn't actually that dirty at all (don't be too dissapointed).
