It’s been a little over a week since the blazing Cypher of Fyre battles 🔥

Shout out to all of you who pulled up to dance or support and enjoy the event! There was really a whole lot of fire (pun unintended), more than anticipated! It was high energy and all round positive vibrations! We created that together 👊🏽

We have so much to share with you so let’s start with some of our favourite photos snapped 📸 by !

13.May.2023 all roads 👉🏽 to CYPHER OF FYRE at '23 x &jam feat. the legendary 🇺🇸

Archie Burnett, first founding father of the New York City based House of Ninja, has been a well-respected force in the underground dance world for over 40 years. As a master of Whacking, Voguing, Hustle and many other styles, he is the catalyst for the European Vogue scene that exists today. Burnett moves with profound clarity and striking geometric body-lines.

Burnett’s bodies of work range from music videos to features in magazines like Dance Ink and the former Village Voice dance section to performance coaching for up-and-coming recording artists. He is featured in the documentary Check Your Body at the Door, which chronicles the lives and lifestyles of six remarkable underground House dancers in New York City during the golden decade of the 1990s.

Manu a.k.a. Bboy Mamoose started Breakin in 2001 in his hometown Noumea in New Caledonia. He moved to Brisbane in 2004 where he soon joined one of the best Australian Bboy crews, Skill@Will. Manu taught Breakin classes for many years as he loves to share his knowledge and expertise with the next generation. Manu has performed at numerous shows both in QLD and interstate as well as competing in crew and solo comps at a national and international level. One of his most memorable achievements was winning ‘Evolution Australian Qualifier’ which got him to represent Australia with his whole crew in 2011 where Hip Hop was born: New York. Manu is an exciting and dynamic performer and his passion and enthusiasm for Breakin shines through whenever and wherever he is dancing.
