🔨 Distillery Build Update 🔨

Another milestone ticked off today!

A big thank you to Securelux Ipswich for installing Crimsafe security screens on all of our sliding doors and windows. Not only have they added an extra layer of security to the distillery, but they’ve also solved another challenge we’ve been living with during the build.

Until now, we didn’t have any flyscreens, which meant keeping doors and windows closed if we wanted to keep the flies out. Now we can open the distillery up, let the fresh air flow through.

It’s great to see the building becoming more functional and comfortable as we move closer to opening. Every step brings us one step nearer to welcoming you through the doors.

There’s something pretty satisfying about seeing our labels come to life 🎥✨

A big thanks to our label printing team for capturing the process and helping bring the updated design to reality. Tinus made a few important tweaks after the first edition, where the darker colours made some details harder to read — and the difference is incredible.

Watching the labels run through the printers makes all the fine-tuning worth it. Clean, crisp, and ready for the shelves 🙌

While we wait for the final approvals to come through, we’re not sitting still 👌

Today the Espresso Repairman dropped in to connect and give the machine a full service because if we’re going to do something… we like to do it well ☕️

As part of responsible service of alcohol, we believe great alternative options matter. Good coffee is absolutely one of them. It may also inspire some new creations. We are after all a distillery first!

We’re looking at sourcing beans from local legends Merlo Coffee or Ipswich Coffee Roasters.

Which local roaster gets your vote? We want to use coffee beans that our customers will enjoy.
