Establishing and running 212m Photographic Gallery & Studio, Ballarat, has been a pleasure during the past 3 years and I have met some amazing people; local, national and international travellers over that time. My photographs now hang on many walls in Ballarat and beyond, even on the HMAS Ballarat and in many overseas destinations. The largest print created for a restaurant in Parramatta NSW was 3.6m long x 1.8m high and shows Uluru at sunset. I have also had the pleasure of photographing a number of historically significant events in Ballarat, conducted many First Steps to Better Photography Courses and have enjoyed the challenges of Portrait Photography in a studio environment. My enthusiasm for taking great photographs continues to burn and it's time for me to focus on my own photography once more.

Therefore I have taken the decision to close 212m effective the end of August 2016.

ALL current floor stock has been heavily discounted with a minimum of 20% and up to 50% OFF - NO exceptions!

Great news this morning with 212m First Steps to Better Photography Course 1 participant, Felicity Clay, taking out FIRST PLACE in TWO of the three categories of the Ballarat Show Photography competition (details below).

Felicity won the "Photograph taken of a local Historical Feature" with her beautiful image of Sovereign Hill as well as the "View of the Lake" section with her image of 4 cygnets.

A couple of weeks ago had the pleasure of visiting Central Australia with Kathleen Schulz. Great time sharing one of my favourite places with her, including Alice Springs, West MacDonnell Ranges esp Ormiston Gorge, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon and Kathleen Springs. Lots of new memories created and reminder images taken on Canon 6D for the family photo album. These ones are some of the landscapes enjoyed by both of us. Hope you do too.

212m Photo Gallery and Studio opened its doors at 212 Mair Street Ballarat on Saturday August 17th, 2013. It features a large sample of the photographic work of Rick Broadway, www.aperturepriority.com.au (or rickbroadway.com.au)

Photographs hanging in the gallery include a selection of Limited Edition Australian landscape images, a stunning collection of Ballarat & District images and Australian Flora and Fauna including native orchids and birds.

Open between 9.30am and 5.00pm Wednesday to Sunday, or by appointment on Mondays and Tuesdays, visitors are most welcome. All works displayed in the gallery, or on the aperturepriority website, are for sale as framed, unframed or canvas images.
