হাদিস:
আব্দুর রহমান ইবনু আবি কা’বা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন,
রাসূলুল্লাহ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেন —
«إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ بِنَجَسٍ، إِنَّهَا مِنَ الطَّوَّافِينَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَالطَّوَّافَاتِ»
“বিড়াল অপবিত্র নয়। এটি তোমাদের আশেপাশে ঘুরে বেড়ানো প্রাণীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।”
