Tsentle Security Services Supports Learners at Iketleletso Intermediate School

As part of its Women’s Month community outreach initiative, Tsentle Security Services visited Iketleletso Intermediate School today, 17 August 2026, and donated boxes of sanitary towels to support female learners and promote menstrual hygiene and dignity.

Tsentle was warmly welcomed by the School Principal, Mr Mothusi Gaborokwe, who afforded the company an opportunity to address learners during the morning assembly.

In our message, we emphasised that the initiative is about more than providing sanitary products:

“We are not just handing out sanitary towels. We are giving confidence and sending a message to young girls that they are valued, and that their education and wellbeing matter. Menstruation shouldn’t be a reason for them to miss school,” said Pulane Maetso, Tsentle’s Operations Manager.

Tsentle Security Services remains committed to supporting initiatives that contribute to stronger, healthier and more empowered communities.

We thank the School Principal, educators and learners of Iketleletso Intermediate School for the warm welcome and for allowing us to be part of this meaningful Women’s Month initiative.

Tsentle Security Services Gives Back to Local Schools Through Sanitary Towel Donation Initiative

Tsentle Security Services and Training has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting and uplifting the communities in which it operates through a sanitary towel donation initiative aimed at helping young girls maintain their dignity, confidence, and school attendance during their menstrual cycles.

The initiative was guided by a simple but important belief: no girl should ever miss school or experience a moment of shame because of a natural biological cycle.

As part of Tsentle Security Services’s commitment to giving back to communities and schools in partnership with the company, the team visited five schools and boxes of sanitary towels to each school.

The schools that received the donations were:

* KP Toto High School
* Lesedi High School
* Galaletsang Science High School
* Maikaelelo Intermediate School
* Mamoratwa Middle School

All five schools warmly welcomed the initiative and expressed their appreciation for the donations. The visits also provided an opportunity for Tsentle representatives to engage with and motivate learners, reinforcing the importance of education, self-confidence, dignity, and personal well-being.

Tsentle Security Services and Trainining Operations Manager, Ms Pulane Maetso highlighted that “We are not simply handing out sanitary products. We are giving confidence and sending a message to every young girl that she is seen, she is valued, and her education and wellbeing matter. Menstruation should never be a reason for a girl to feel ashamed or to miss an opportunity to learn.”

Tsentle Security hopes that the initiative will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the young girls who received the donations and contribute towards creating an environment where learners can attend school with dignity and confidence.

Tsentle Security Services is proud to join SAPS, led by Northern Cape Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Koliswa Otola, during Operation Shanela II in Kuruman.

The coordinated efforts between SAPS and private security play a vital role in preventing and combating crime through increased visibility, intelligence sharing, joint patrols, roadblocks, and proactive law enforcement actions. By working together, we strengthen community safety, deter criminal activity, and support the creation of safer environments for all residents.

Partnerships between law enforcement and private security remain key in the ongoing fight against crime across the Northern Cape.
