Circles and Squares Square Dancing Club Circles and Squares danced modern western square dancing Wednesdays (Mainstream and Plus) with Classe. Don Moger is the caller.

The club ceased operations with the arrival of Covid in 2019. The page remains for our former members to enjoy the memories. Learn Basic Square Dancing Thurday nights between 7:00 and 10:00 pm. Come as you are: single, as a couple, as a family with your teens and preteens (10 yrs and up), or as a group of friends. We learn the first 50 basic calls between 7 and 9;00 pm followed by more advanced d

ancing in the last hour. Those who have completed class are invited to join us on Wednesday evenings. Square dance parties where you can try square dancing without committing to lessons are held on September 12th and 19th, and on January 9th and 16th Class where you learn to square dance in 12 weeks starts on September 26, 2019 and January 23, 2020.. We draw our dancers from The West Island of Montreal, and a large surrounding area. Bienvenue aux francophones dans le monde de la danse carrée! Venez découvrir cette activité qui, chez nous, est surtout connue des anglophones, mais qui est en fait pratiquée internationalement. Même si vous ne maîtrisez pas parfaitement la langue de Shakespeare, l'atmosphère amicale d'une soirée de danse et la courtoisie des danseurs auront tôt fait de vous convaincre de vous inscrire à l'une de nos classes. D'ailleurs, nos clubs comptent déjà beaucoup de francophones parmi leurs membres.

Peacefully on February 2, 2023, surrounded by much love. Beloved life partner of Don Moger. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Darren and Melody Smolkin, and Cindy Smolkin. Adored sister and sister-in-law of Roz and Brian Meshwork, and Linda Stern. Most precious Bubby of Sami, Ryan, Manny and Sean. She will be greatly missed by her loving square dance community. Avena will be treasured in our memory forever. Funeral from Paperman and Sons, Sunday, February 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Community Foundation Cemetery, de la Savane.
