Ganzhou, are you ready for something different?

On Monday, September 8, Melinda brings J.Boroski Shanghai to Ganzhou for a guest shift at ground-breaking bar, Creation.

Located in the heart of Ganzhou’s business district, Creation is a community bar set on developing cocktails that stand apart from the city’s usual style. Opened back in 2021, it has become a place for new ideas and new flavors.

Frank and Pete first met during a rooftop shift in Bangkok. Since then, they’ve shared a few cities, plenty of ideas, and more than a few drinks. This is the first time they’ve put them all on one menu.

On Sunday, August 17, we’re launching something new: Collaborative Guest Bartending — a series where two bartenders work in sync to build custom cocktails together.

For this edition, the pair draw on their time in Thailand, using local flavours and shared memories to shape the menu.

Frank Li has run cocktail programs from the Ritz-Carlton flair bar to Prada Rongzhai and La Fontaine. His drinks are balanced and structured, but always open to play.

Pierre Bourguignon-Pitet started in the business at London’s famous ECC before stints in Tokyo, Paris, and Amsterdam. For the past few years he has been managing J.Boroski Bangkok with a quietly technical touch.

BACK TO BACK: J.Boroski x Union Trading Co.

This summer, we’re going round for round with one of China’s most iconic bar teams.

Union Trading Company, based in Shanghai, is a cornerstone of the Chinese cocktail scene. A regular name on Asia’s 50 Best Bars, and ranked 48th in the World’s 50 Best Bars in 2021, they’re bringing their distinctive approach and big-hearted style to J.Boroski Shanghai.

First up, on July 31, we welcome Tim and Roey, part of the Union crew who rotate between the Shanghai flagship and their sleek Suzhou outpost. Catch them at J.Boroski for one night only – we’re thrilled to have them behind our bar 🔥

Then, on August 6, we send our own Melinda to Suzhou, carrying a stash of J.Boroski B-Side ingredients (ask the team what that means!) for her debut shift at Union. Suzhou friends—we’ll see you there 🙌
