Vinyl Night at Sanctuary Bar
Andrei Mayski is a zealous vinyl DJ has collected of records with a variety of classical old-school grooves modern tunes with a certain amount of carefully selected experimental electronic music, which wreathe into his minimalistic and atmospheric mixes. Having instrumental musical background from late 1990s in St. Petersburg, Russia, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh as fortune troughs him between home country and Viet Nam. He uses vinyl records to create his signature grooves that are distinct and non-intrusive, enigmatic in their simplicity, equally fit as a setting for an elegant dance, meaningful talk or thoughtful contemplation. And of course, he’s got the tunes needed for night club. He played at Library and Flow projects, co-operated with numerous bars in Saigon, twice participated Monkey Island festival in Halong bay, played music in Angelina, Tach Space, Arch, Mirage and other venues around the city.
